As an Assistant Product Developer on the Nordstrom Product Group (NPG) team, you will partner with Product Developers, Merchants, and manufacturers to develop products that make our customers feel good and look their best! A day in the life...
Assist in the development of products that are engineered to cost standards and move toward category ownership. Review prototypes compared to tech packSupport PD in meeting product development milestones and calendar due dates.Create, revise and manage tech packs and prototypes through accurate and timely PLM system updates.Track & monitor samplesReview and reconcile fabric/garment test reportsSupport the PD in negotiation with vendors through product lifecycle i.e. costing, time and action, minimums, etc.Place developed and adopted styles in accordance with the Sourcing Strategy

Bachelor’s Degree, preferred1+ years’ experience in product development, design or production in garment manufacturingStrong problem solving and negotiating skillsClear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skillsExperienced in Excel and Outlook#LI-Hybrid

Pay Range Details

Washington: $51,500 - $83,500 annuallyThis position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
