The Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of complex spine surgery. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Applicants must also be ABNS Board Eligible.
Teaching responsibilities may include the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include spine surgery, including reconstructive and deformity surgery.
The successful candidate may also be eligible for a future faculty affiliation at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC).
