The College of Business Administration h as a balanced emphasis on teaching and research . Service to internal and external stakeholders is an essential expectation of all faculty members. The College of Business Administration is accredited by AACSB International (reaffirmed in 2023 ) . It offers an undergraduate accounting degree, a forensic accounting certificate, and a Master of Science in Taxation (100 percent online) degree. The College of Business Administration o ffers a n array of undergraduate and graduate programs , resulting in a growing student enrollment and a long-standing tradition of providing a VITA p rogram that has received multiple IRS grants . The congenial and collaborative faculty in the College of Business Administration strives to provide a supportive learning environment for the students to help them achieve their academic and career goals. Required Qualifications + Ph.D. or D.B.A. degree in accounting from an accredited institution. An A.B.D. will be considered , with a terminal degree anticipated by (September 1, 2025) . + Strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching in the accounting field and research + Strong commitment and capability to conduct applied and/or pedagogic research in the accounting field . + Commitment to service and interaction with the professional accounting community. + Demonstrated ability to teach in different modalities ( face-to-face/hybrid/virtual ). + Record of working and communicating effectively with college stakeholders Preferred Qualifications + Certification (such as CPA, CMA, etc.) + Ability to effectively teach Cost/Managerial Accounting + ERP (i.e., SAP) proficiency + Willingness to engage in course/program development + Experience teaching and interacting with first-generation students Appointment Starting Date/Salary This is a nine-month appointment beginning August 202 5 .
