Assistant Professor, Cognitive Neurology

The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of adult cognitive conditions with emphasis on Alzheimer’s Disease, Fellowship trained in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board Certified in Neurology.
Teaching responsibilities may include staffing patients in neurology resident clinic every other week, working with Cognitive Neurology Fellows, lectures for medical students, neurology residents and cognitive neurology fellows, and mentoring residents and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include seeing general cognitive neurology patients with a focus on Alzheimer’s Disease in collaboration with an advanced practice provider and social worker at Pennsylvania Hospital, and participating in clinical research trials and studies in Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias.
