Assistant Professor, Occupational Safety and Health
Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include full-time teaching and advising students in the occupational safety and health program. Related duties include university services, conducting scholarship/research, participating in curriculum development, pursuing grant opportunities, building relationships with local industry, and recruitment of students, along with other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Requirements: Ph.D. in Occupational Safety and Health or related field is required. ABDs with a documented plan of completion by appointment date will be considered. Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements: Candidate must be qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate-level coursework related to occupational health and safety. Successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to effectively contribute to a collaborative academic environment. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
