Assistant Professor, Tenure Track- Economics (Macroeconomics and International Economics) Faculty Boston, Massachusetts Apply Description The Department of Economics at Suffolk University invites applications for a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor in Economics beginning July 1, 2025. We are seeking candidates with a specialization in m acroeconomics, i nternational t rade, and i nternational m onetary e conomics. Candidates should provide evidence of commitment to excellent teaching and scholarly potential, including a research agenda and plans for peer-reviewed publication. The Department of Economics offers undergraduate majors in both the College of Arts and Sciences and the Sawyer Business School. The successful candidate should be able to teach required and elective e conomics courses, including i ntermediate m acroeconomics, i nternational t rade, and i nternational m onetary e conomics. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to teach an elective economics course in the new MS Data Science degree program as well. In addition to demonstrating excellence in teaching and research, the successful candidate is expected to advise and mentor undergraduate students, and engage in service with the department, college and university. The workload for this position is 45% teaching, 35% research, and 20% service with a 5-course teaching load per year.
