The Department of Marketing is a dynamic hub of academic excellence and innovation, comprising 19 full-time faculty members who serve over 400 undergraduate marketing major s and an active Master of Science in Marketing program. The department has a vibrant research culture, with faculty earning internal and external grants, presenting at leading conferences, and publishing in high quality publications, including the Journal of Marketing , Journal of Consumer Research , Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science , Journal of Business Research , and Journal of Retailing . It also fosters a rigorous and collaborative learning environment, featur ing a state-of-art neuroscience consumer research lab with an active subject pool as well as a student-run advertising agency, providing hands-on experience and stimulating creativity among students as they apply their knowledge to tackle real-world challenges. We seek candidates who are committed to excellence in both research and teaching, as well as engagement with students, colleagues, and business or professional communities. Position Overview: This faculty position involves responsibilities in research, teaching , and service. The teaching load is five courses (or 2-3) per academic year, with a one - course reduction during the first year and fewer preps for junior faculty. Faculty are expected to engage in student advising and mentoring, maintain a strong research and publication pipeline , and actively participate in the life of the department, college, and university through committee work and other service roles. We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications: Required qualifications: + A Ph.D. or DBA in marketing related areas from an AACSB-accredited institution or equivalent (by June 30, 2025). + Experience and/or interest in teaching AI in marketing, Marketing Research, Consumer Behavior, or Capstone Consultancy courses in both our undergraduate and MSM (Master of Science in Marketing) programs. + Demonstrated research interest in the AI - marketing strategies or consumer wellbeing areas. + Proficiency in using AI tools . + An interest and capability in developing relationships with local and/or global organizations is a plus. + Strong potential for teaching excellence and impactful research.
