Position Summary: Join our growing BA program in Psychology within the Department of Psychology and Counseling here at Arkansas State University. We are currently seeking a dedicated and innovative Assistant Professor of Psychology to deliver high-quality instruction and engage students in our online BA in Psychology program. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about working with traditional and non-traditional college students and are adept at fostering a stimulating online learning environment. Duties & Responsibilities: + Teach courses in psychology that may cover topics such as developmental psychology, social psychology, cognitive processes, and mental health. + Conduct regular virtual office hours to provide guidance and support to students. + Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and discussions. + Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and other administrative duties as required. + Contribute to the ongoing development and revision of the program’s curriculum and teaching materials. + Mentor and advise students on academic and career development. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong command of digital communication platforms and educational technologies. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
