Assistant Professor Position Number F3190A Department Office of Research Category Faculty Location : Location US-VA-Norfolk Type Regular Full-Time Overview

The primary role for this position will be to develop, deliver and promulgate research within and outside the institution.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with peers, faculty and support staff

Ensures that supervisor support staff are trained, evaluated and adhere to EVMS policies and procedures that are specific

Participate in academic/clinical/research activities as needed

Participate in administrative, department policy and procedure development.

Participate in clinical based research projects as needed.

Provide administrative and supervisory support to educational, clinical, research mission

Manage day to day activities in accordance with EVMS policies and procedures and the polices and procedures of supporting institutions.

Communication skills to present teaching materials

Provide leadership and support in research project development, proposal, data collection, reporting and promulgation of research results

Qualifications

Ph.D. Required
