Primary responsibilities will include outpatient clinical evaluation and management of patients with pediatric gastrointestinal disease with a focus on Neurogastroenterology and Motility, inpatient consultations and performance of GI procedures. - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado and possible satellite locations in the metro area. The Section of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutritionis a national leader in innovative clinical practice, developing and testing new diagnostics and treatments, and training the next generation of clinicians and researchers. The Section is ranked the #3 pediatric gastroenterology program in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. Current faculty includes 41 pediatric gastroenterologists and hepatologists, 13 advanced practice providers (APPs), 5 pediatric psychologists specializing in pediatric gastroenterology, and 10 pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology fellows. The NGM Program also performs a wide variety of gastroenterology motility studies including anorectal manometry, esophageal manometry, colonic manometry, antroduodenal manometry and EndoFlip.
