**Assistant Professor (Lecturer) – Career Line**
The**Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism**in the**College of Health**at the**University of Utah**is pleased to announce a career-line Assistant Professor (Lecturer) position. The Department is looking for a skilled educator who will cover classes in the core curriculum and provide representation on Department, College, and University committees. This appointment will begin January 2025.
The successful candidate will have experience in teaching core classes including but not exclusive to introductory and mid-level courses in parks, recreation, and tourism management. Preference will be given to individuals with skills and interests in teaching the business and management of parks, recreation and tourism services (e.g., financial management, personnel, marketing, facilities, etc.). Service based responsibilities representing the Department on College and University committees may also be required.
