JOB SUMMARY:
Ramapo College of New Jersey invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Vertebrate Physiology. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in a Biological Science. College teaching experience is a plus, especially experience teaching human anatomy & physiology. The appointment will begin September 1, 2025.

Excellence in teaching is a priority.

Examples of Duties

DUTIESThe position requires excellence in teaching, mentoring and advising, professional and scholarly achievements, and a commitment to service.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach 24 credits per academic year. Teaching includes Anatomy & Physiology 1 & 2 (Lecture & Lab) and other courses as needed in the Biology curriculum. A biology elective in the successful candidate’s specialty will be developed by the candidate.

Faculty are expected to to develop an ongoing program of research in any physiological specialty suitable for undergraduate student collaboration. Research should lead to publications.
