The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is seeking a Sleep Medicine physician (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Clinical Medicine) to support the Sleep Medicine Program. Successful candidates will simultaneously teach as they provide clinical care, as they will be accompanied by medical students, residents, and fellows in an outpatient clinic setting. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications. There are opportunities to participate in and lead NIH-funded research, clinical trials, and sleep-specific quality and clinical analytics initiatives.

Essential Functions Contributing to ambulatory and hospital-based care. Maintaining active engagement in our education and training missions. Participating in quality improvement, safety, and clinical projects in Sleep Medicine. Treating Sleep Medicine patients while accompanied by learners such as UC Medical Students and UC Medical Center (UCMC) Residents and Fellows. Partner with outpatient sleep medicine advance practice providers in managing a large panel of sleep patients, including obstructive sleep apnea, sleep disordered breathing, circadian rhythm disorders, narcolepsy and other parasomnias. Interpreting sleep studies from two busy sleep labs. Participating in a pro rata amount of on-call coverage. Minimum Requirements MD or DO, or foreign equivalent degree. DEA license. Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Pulmonary Medicine. Completed 1-Year Sleep Medicine Fellowship. Board eligible or board certified in sleep medicine. Current unrestricted Ohio Medical License (or ability to attain by start date).
