The workload for this position includes teaching five courses per academic year (i.e., 2/3 teaching load), and all graduate program courses are delivered in-person. Teaching opportunities also may exist for leading undergraduate courses in Human Services, as well as summer availability in graduate specialties. Successful candidates will possess, and hold the ability to demonstrate, a variety of pedagogical approaches that enhance student learning, including the use of technology inside and outside of the classroom. ABD candidates will be considered if the degree is conferred by August 15, 2025. _Experience_ + The ideal candidate holds a strong professional counselor identity, such as active memberships and/or experience in leadership roles among prominent affiliations in the field (e.g., ACA, ASCA, ACES, NBCC, etc.). + Candidates who have experience serving as CACREP Liaison or on CACREP review/site committees, or have contributed to self-study and annual accreditation reports, are highly encouraged to apply. + Candidates with an active research agenda and history of presentations and publications in the counseling field are preferred. + Candidates who have experience in teaching assessment and/or research in the field of counseling, are highly desirable in this position. _Special Qualifications_ + Candidates with an earned Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or professional school counselor license in the state of Colorado, or who are license-eligible, are highly desirable for supervision purposes.
