Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree. Must have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.
Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing outpatient and inpatient consultative services.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include clinical or orthopaedic basic science research and will be dependent on the candidate's interests and individual support. Evidence of scholarship is required for the Clinician Educator track.
Candidates must be board certified/board eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
