We seek scholars of Applied Ethics (including environmental ethics) or Epistemology (broadly construed to include applied epistemology, moral, social, or feminist epistemology). Candidates should have teaching competency in Critical Reasoning. We welcome applications from candidates who could teach Aesthetics or Philosophy of Law. We seek candidates who can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with broadly diverse student populations. The position requires institutional service including academic advising of undergraduate students after the first year. Candidates with ABD will be considered, although candidates with a Ph.D. are preferred. The teaching load for this position is four courses during the first year and five courses thereafter. The expected 9-month base salary range for this position is $89,800 to $96,000.
