The USC Keck School of Medicine - Alzheimer Therapeutic Research Institute (ATRI), located in San Diego, California is an academic institute comprised of an expert team of scientists and researchers committed to advancing the development of new treatments for Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) through innovative clinical trials. The Biostatistics Section at ATRI is an internationally recognized biostatistics research group specializing in the design, conduct and analysis of multi-center randomized clinical trials, natural history studies, participant registries and translational research in neurology with a focus on Alzheimer’s Disease and related disorders (ADRD).
University of Southern California and the Alzheimer's Therapeutic Research Institute (ATRI) invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in the Biostatistics section. This is a non-tenured faculty position with salary and academic rank commensurate with qualifications. The successful candidate must have a doctoral degree in Biostatistics with research interest in biostatistics, clinical trial methodology and adaptive clinical trial designs. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in Alzheimer's disease (AD) clinical trials research, and with experience working in academia and the pharmaceutical sector. This position will be highly collaborative, working on grant proposals with the ATRI Biostatistics leadership, development of AD clinical trials statistical methodology, and the design, monitoring and analysis of clinical trials conducted at the Institute.
This is a hybrid position and will require working onsite at ATRI in San Diego at least 3 days each week.
