The School of Music at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Saxophone. We seek an artist/teacher with demonstrated success and experience working with students from diverse musical, social, and cultural backgrounds. The ideal candidate is a skilled and successful teacher of undergraduate and graduate students and will fulfill duties and responsibilities commensurate with an academic position at a leading institution. Candidates will teach studio saxophone lessons, organize and run saxophone chamber ensembles, and provide academic advising to students. Additional areas of teaching and service may be determined depending upon School needs, candidates’ individual interests, qualifications, and expertise. The successful candidate will join faculty and staff at a minority-serving institution committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
