This position carries a teaching load of 9 credit hours per semester. The duties of this position include the following: Delivers high-quality instruction in Data Science and Statistics at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Provides guidance and support to students through mentoring and advising at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Conducts impactful research in the fields of Data Science and Statistics; contributing to the advance of knowledge in those areas. Demonstrates a commitment to curriculum development. Engages in service activities. Educational Requirements for the Position Ph.D. in Data Science (preferred) or Statistics, by the time of appointment Experience Required for the Position A successful candidate will have a strong commitment to quality teaching and an active research agenda. Other Requirements for the Position Candidates must have excellent communication skills, passion for quality teaching and research in Data Science.
