Assistant Professor of Systems Pharmacology and Translational Therapeutics
The Department of Systems Pharmacology and Translational Therapeutics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of systems pharmacology, immunopharmacology, neuropharmacology, immune health, immune therapeutics and biologics, RNA, novel drug development and/or profiling, or cellular therapeutics. Applicants must have an Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Teaching responsibilities may include teaching graduate or medical students in the School of Medicine. Research or scholarship responsibilities may include establishing and overseeing a productive and vibrant research lab, publishing high impact papers in top tier journals, successfully obtaining external funding support to sustain the lab and achieving national/ international recognition as a leader in the field. Early career investigators are expected to have several years of postdoctoral and/or clinical research experience and the potential to generate their own grant support and a strong publication record. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research. We seek candidates who embrace and reflect diversity in the broadest sense.
