Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) has initiated a search for a talented clinical psychiatrist at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.  EVMS is located in a beautiful, coastal area of Virginia in the second largest metropolitan area in the state.  

Responsibilities

Provide Physician support and care to patients in office /hospital setting.

Collaborate with Nursing, office staff, administration in patient care

Counseling of students for academic performance, life skills and professionalism

Manage day to day activities in accordance with EVMS policies and procedures and the polices and procedures of supporting institutions.

Participate in clinical based research projects as needed.

Participate in committees as assigned.
