The Department of Mathematics is a dynamic, collaborative community comprised of 33 full-time faculty in pure and applied mathematics, statistics, and math education. We are seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor to join our statistics group and contribute to its growth and success. We invite applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Statistics. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to our department’s research, teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and service. We welcome applicants from all areas of statistics. Preference will be given to candidates whose research interests overlap with the existing faculty, particularly causal inference, high-dimensional statistics, semiparametric/nonparametric methods, change-point problems, signal processing, Bayesian statistics and machine learning. Candidates must have a PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field. Post-doctoral experience is highly desirable but not required.
