Essential functions (job duties):
Teach undergraduate & graduate courses in Criminology & Criminal Justice including: Politics in Criminal Justice (CRJ 3120, cross-listed with Political Science, PS 3120); Police & Society (CRJ 3200); Investigations (CRJ 3260); Research Methods in Criminal Justice (CRJ 3550); Comparative Criminal Justice (CRJ 3900); Special Topics (CRJ 5995); Public Policy & Criminal Justice (CRJ 7200); Policing & Society (CRJ 7230); Research Methods in Criminal Justice (CRJ 7860); & Special Topics (CRJ 7995).
Advise students.
Serve on Department & University committees, as needed
Qualifications:
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Criminal Justice or Criminology or Political Science.
Ph.D. dissertation in comparison of effectiveness of law enforcement investigations in the United States & other countries.
