Gannett Fleming is looking for a highly motivated individual familiar within the Fairfax/greater Washington DC market, capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across multiple disciplines. Responsibilities:
Support of managerial responsibility for all aspects of the project including scope development, contract negotiations, cost control, staff management, and quality control on multiple, concurrent projects.Plans, directs, coordinates, and/or participates in activities of the design team to ensure that goals or objectives of these projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.Forecasting, accruing, and invoicing clients in accordance with contract requirements.Coordinate design activities and meetings between design staff, subcontractors, and clients.Coordinate the planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, of subcontractors and internal technical and support staff.Education | Experience:Minimum Qualifications
A professional architectural degree (B.Arch or M.Arch) is requiredFamiliarity with federal clients and contractsMinimum of 5 -10 years of experience in Architectural work on Federal or similar projectsFamiliarity with Federal/DoD building types and requirementsExperience with software such as Revit Architecture, BlueBeam Revu, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft OfficeExperience with Specsintact and SpecLink platformsEffective writer, communicator, detail-oriented designerAble to work collaboratively with staff and clients on multiple projectsIn-depth knowledge of DoD standards, Uniform Facilities Criteria (UFC) and UCC codesIn depth knowledge of International Building Codes, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and related standardsOrganized individual with a positive team building spirit with a collaborative one team attitude.Must be a US citizen ( to obtain DoD clearances)Company Overview:At Gannett Fleming TranSystems, we believe in improving the lives of the people we serve.
