NEXT Electric, LLC seeking full-time Electrical Assistant Project Manager in Madison, Wisconsin. Job Summary + Assists project managers ensuring continuity/efficiency of each project from start to finish + Visits various construction sites and interacts with crew, customers, leaders, and general contractors to ensure jobs are running as expected + Reviews estimates with estimators prior to submittal to customer to ensure accuracy + Assists in managing productivity of craft workers and efficient use of materials/equipment, and overall contractual performance of projects + Contacts vendors to obtain materials for projects + Provides technical assistance, i.e. interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods, equipment, etc. + Tracks and reports project status updates to project managers + Promotes a safe working environment for all work activities Qualifications + 1 or more years’ experience in construction/electrical project management support + Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Business preferred + Accubid experience preferred + Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) + Proficiency in use of PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word) + Strong mathematical skills + Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting complex documents + Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy.
