Assistant Project Manager

Our client is an industry leading framing contractor proudly serving the tri-state area for the past 30 years. They are currently seeking an assistant project manager to support their multifamily construction projects throughout New Jersey. Job Description

Interpret construction architectural prints for potential technical problems and consult with architects/engineering to resolve design and installation issuesSupervise current projects and coordinate with all team members to keep workflow on trackSupport Project Managers in all phases of glazing projects from bid to close-outEnsure information from client gets to project managers and from office to field (and vice-versa)Generate RFI's, change orders, and submittalsParticipate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessaryManage job dashboardsRepresent our company in a professional and positive manner with all external vendors, suppliers, architects, Project Managers, owners, and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

Degree/certification in drafting, design, architecture, project management, engineering, or similar field or 2 years of relevant experienceExperience with wood, and metal framingProficiency in AutoCAD is a plusAbout Actalent
