Assistant Project Manager

Job Overview:

 

As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll develop and verify project scope, evaluate impacts of changes to design, cost, and schedule. You will also be responsible for control costs, monitor quality of deliverables, and identify project risks/develop risk mitigation plans.

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the project manager and team members to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Coordinate project meetings and ensure that all relevant parties are informed of project activities. Monitor project risks and issues and develop plans to mitigate or resolve them. Support the project manager in managing project scope, schedule, and budget. Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and accurate. Act as a liaison between the project team and stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and contractors. Ensure that all project activities are in compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Manage project resources and ensure that they are utilized effectively and efficiently. Schedule and perform buyer inspection walkthrough of residential units. Prepare a comprehensive report detailing the findings of the apartment inspection. Ability to work independently to meet concrete deadlines and time frames. Must possess good people skills, excellent communication skills, and be self-managed. Possess an acute attention to detail. Working knowledge of construction terminologies, a plus but not necessary

 

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in project/construction management. Strong knowledge of building electrical and mechanical laws and codes. Knowledge of MS Office, including Project, is a must. Preferred Qualifications: PE License and or PMP. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
