A leading construction company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their team. This role involves supporting the Project Manager in overseeing project operations, acting as a liaison between field activities and office coordination, and fostering a culture of Quality, Safety, and Performance (QSP).
What you'll be responsible for:
Assisting the Project Manager in project administration, report monitoring, and maintaining logs and information.Overseeing document control, including managing procurement logs, submittals, purchase orders, correspondence, and deliverables.Administering and tracking receivables, billings, and commitments.Managing revisions of contract drawings, specifications, RFIs, and change order logs to ensure clarity of the scope of work between the office, field, and client.Comparing actual hourly and cost performance against budgeted figures.Updating and reviewing project schedules, tracking job progress and productivity.Monitoring QA/QC compliance with specifications and maintaining project document control.Processing and tracking project communications, including emails, texts, letters, documentation, and notifications.Maintaining both electronic and physical project files.Preparing meeting minutes, daily reports, correspondence, and material specifications.Developing, maintaining, and delivering comprehensive project close-out documentation packages.Analyzing technical and administrative project information, understanding and monitoring scope of work, pricing details, plans, assumptions, and project risks.Identifying and communicating potential changes to the contract or scope of work.Pricing contract changes and preparing submissions for clients.Anticipating, identifying, preventing, and resolving issues, communicating with the Project Manager to support mitigation and monitor results.Updating the Project Manager on information interpretation for pricing, budgeting, purchasing, scheduling, project scope variation, and estimate variation from project inception to completion.What you'll bring:
3-5 years of experience in electrical construction (Preferred).Proficiency with RFIs, change orders, and submittals.Experience in project document control and billing management.Experience in substation construction management (Preferred).What to expect:

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $57.00
