Assistant Project Manager
Assistant Project Manager | INTERVIEWS HAPPENING THIS WEEK!! Job Type: Full-time Location: Central New Jersey Our client is a global leading general contractor with a prominent presence in New Jersey. They are working with some of the top pharmaceutical companies in the US, supporting their complex construction needs. They are looking to bring in a highly motivated Assistant Project Manager to support their ongoing pharmaceutical construction projects in Central New Jersey. What you'll be responsible for: + Developing a working knowledge of prime contract requirements and applying knowledge to project activities. + Supporting the Project Manager in the development and maintenance of preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans. + Facilitating communication between project participants. + Assisting in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other documents. + Supporting the procurement and coordination of all required project resources, including intra-divisional, interdivisional, and extra corporate. + Pursuing scheduling information from subcontractors, vendors, and design professionals. + Developing a working knowledge of the project budget and identifying exposures throughout the project execution. + Assisting in the management of change control systems and policies. + Supporting quality assurance for the project. + Monitoring design content and coordinating design revisions for constructability and compliance. + Reviewing all shop drawings and submittals. + Ensuring project documents are distributed, reviewed, and stored to meet project and corporate requirements. What you need: + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. + Experience in Engineering, Project delivery, or a related discipline. + Proven experience managing construction documentation like RFIs, submittals, and change orders. + Ability to work directly with contractors to hold accountability to deadlines. Work Environment: + This is a safety-sensitive position. + Work hours: Monday to Friday, 5 days in office. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.88 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
