Job Description
We are a mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC, pumps, and piping. We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help with a healthcare project. This role focuses on scheduling and project coordination, utilizing P6 or Primavera software. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost loading schedules, creating spreadsheets and v-planner scheduling updates, and ensuring all equipment and costs are on budget and on time. Additionally, they will assist the Project Manager with administrative and coordination duties.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with project scheduling using P6 or Primavera.Create and update cost loading schedules and v-planner scheduling for equipment and costs.Ensure all schedules and budgets are met.Complete and submit RFIs and submittals.Support the Project Manager with administrative and coordination tasks.Essential SkillsProficiency in P6 or Primavera with at least 3 years of experience.3 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer.3 years of HVAC/Mechanical experience.Degree in Construction Management.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with projects over $20 million.Experience as a Superintendent is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Ability to manage multiple tasks and wear different hats.Work Environment
You will be working on-site in a trailer and may also work at the main office. The job involves working on large, noisy, and sometimes dirty commercial sites. The dress code includes work boots, jeans, and an appropriate shirt, with PPE required when going into the field. The company values work-life balance and has a family-first attitude. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00
