Assistant Project Manager

Description

Regal Glass is looking to add an APM to assist in growth. Position will support the President and PM with any project support needs. They will be the liason between client and GC/Owner

Responsibilities:

Assist to;

•\tManage and oversee all aspects of glass and glazing projects from start to finish

•\tCoordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project success

•\tDevelop project plans, timelines, and budgets

•\tManage project schedules and ensure timely completion of all tasks

•\tMonitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure project success

•\tEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols

•\tProvide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress

•\tManage project budgets and ensure projects are completed within budget

•\tEvaluate project outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement

•\tHelp coordinate and manage projects from inception to completion.

•\tReview of work plans and contribute ideas for cutting costs.

•\tCarry out weekly and daily operational reporting in an accurate and timely manner.

•\tFacilitate communication between office and field staff.

•\tTrack and directly report project status updates to project manager.

•\tHelp problem solve issues and suggest ways to improve the project.

•\tOrganize, file, and maintain all current project documents.

•\tAssist in ensuring compliance with contract specifications.

•\tHelp create, manage, and maintain project budget.

•\tCoordinate and execute daily administrative tasks.

•\tHelp create and adhere to project timeline and calendar.

•\tConsult with and gather information from inspectors, engineers, subcontractors, etc.

•\tMaintain positive vendor and client relationships.

•\tEnsure project adheres to set schedule and is meeting goals of the client.

•\tPrepare contract to be closed out with all information required by the customer which includes as-built drawings, videos, & punch list.

•\tMaintain job files.

•\tWorking with sub-contracts, utilities and other Stake holders.

•\tReview subcontractor video, match, and approve the invoices.

•\tOther duties as assigned.

Education & Qualifications:

•\tBachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred

•\t2+ years’ experience in civil construction management

•\tExperience with sewer and water projects a plus.

•\tProficient in Microsoft Suite and AIA

•\tOrganized and detail oriented.

•\tSkilled collaborator

•\tExcels in a high-paced work environment.

•\tStrong communication skills both oral and written.

•\tAbility to multi-task effectively

•\tFocused and supportive of management at all times

•\tSelf-starter who works well independently

•\tAdaptable and calm under pressure

•\tExpert problem solver

Qualifications:

•\tMinimum of 3 years of experience in Glass & Glazing, Commercial Glass, Commercial Glazing, Glass Project Manager, or Glazing Project Manager

•\tBachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field

•\tStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

•\tStrong ability in responding to Request for proposal (RFP).

•\tStrong background in construction and construction management.

•\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills

•\tStrong problem-solving and analytical skills

•\tAbility to work independently and as part of a team

•\tStrong attention to detail and organizational skills

•\tProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $44.00
