Job Description
We are seeking an assistant project manager to join a thriving and growing team in the St. Louis area. The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the Project Manager (Sr. PM) with various projects, including commercial builds, institutional builds, and industrial construction projects. A work history in electrical construction is highly desirable. Candidates must understand the construction process, specifically electrical systems, wiring, harnessing, and safety.
ResponsibilitiesAssist the Project Manager with managing commercial, institutional, and industrial construction projects.Coordinate and oversee electrical construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards.Prepare and process Requests for Information (RFI) and Change Orders.Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.Communicate and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.Ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.Essential SkillsElectrical engineeringConstruction managementExperience with RFI and Change OrdersProject managementCommercial construction experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in budgetingAbility to work with subcontractorsWork Environment
This role involves working on-site at various construction projects in the St. Louis area. The work environment includes exposure to typical construction site conditions, requiring adherence to safety protocols. Standard work hours apply, but flexibility is necessary to meet project deadlines and milestones.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $105000.00
