Associate Project Manager

We are looking for professionals with experience in large-scale highway or high-rise construction projects, possessing at least two years of relevant expertise.

Position Overview: The Associate Project Manager will assist in the coordination, execution, and oversight of construction initiatives, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget. This role involves responsibilities in project planning, resource management, scheduling, and financial tracking.

Primary Responsibilities:

Administrative Duties:

Participate in pre-construction transition meetings.

Manage project documentation, including design approvals, safety protocols, material tracking, and final project close-out requirements.

Schedule and oversee 811 utility call requests in alignment with project timelines.

Assist in the quantification and procurement of necessary project materials.

Track daily work progress and coordinate with field operations.

Compile and distribute project testing logs to clients.

Ensure project teams have access to current plans, specifications, and documentation.

Monitor project progress using standardized tracking tools (weekly productivity and workforce reports).

Generate and verify monthly billing statements in collaboration with clients.

Project Oversight:

Support the lead Project Manager in managing project execution from inception to finalization.

Assess project timelines and assist in cost estimations.

Identify required workforce, equipment, and materials while ensuring adherence to budget constraints.

Conduct field visits to monitor on-site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and work efficiency.

Collect data on material and labor needs from job sites and coordinate with logistics teams for procurement and delivery.

Analyze project performance through appropriate tracking tools and software.

Assist in subcontractor selection, negotiation, and drafting of agreements and purchase orders.

Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and facilitate scheduling.

Contribute to contract negotiations regarding project scope and pricing.

Review contract terms and conditions, offering recommendations as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

Support the lead Project Manager in estimating change orders.

Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators related to safety, productivity, budget adherence, and quality, presenting insights to project leadership.

Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment on project objectives.

Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, efficiency, cost management, and overall project outcomes.

Assist in developing project completion reports, highlighting achievements and areas for future enhancement.

Perform additional duties as assigned by project leadership.
