We are seeking a Commercial Roofing Assistant Project to assist with planning implementation and tracking of commercial roof project installation from beginning to end. Coordinating closely with all parties involved and frequent updates.

Job Summary: The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for following direction and assisting in all aspects of multiple concurrent commercial roof projects from pre-construction to completion.
Prepare project documentation needed for project schedule and phasing plans.Collect data for job costs, learn ECAC and WIP reviews procedures.Assist with providing data regarding manpower on project(s).Coordinate project activities to attain successful goals on all projects by focusing attention on time and in budget project completion.Be effective in reading and takeoffs from Plans/Specs for new/reroof projects.Conduct on-site reviews of assigned projects, coordinating and supervising subcontractors as needed.Supporting various tasks across multiple projects.Help secure profitable repeat business by fostering customer relationships throughout project(s).Aid in controlling and prioritizing multiple activities while handling multiple projects.Participate in pre-job meetings with handoff from estimating to operations on assigned projects.Prepare purchase orders request for review.Participate in all pre-construction meetings.Maintain communication with project contacts regarding scheduling.Verify the receipt of materials inventory at the project site.Arrange final inspections with customers and manufacturers and inform the Estimating team upon completion, as required.Assist with completion of project closeout documents.Collect onsite information for Estimating on an as needed basis on job walks and small service projects.Create a detailed itemized list of all costs associated with the change order and small scope project work. This should include materials, labor, equipment, and any other relevant expenses, as required.Working with manager submit change order and small scope estimates to internal team for review to ensure accuracy and completeness.Develop and maintain professional business relationships with customers, other trades and industry network(s). Stay informed of industry trends and project challenges faced for strategic advantage and enhance business decision-making process.Assist in ensuring that the Safety plan is implemented in accordance with Nations Roof Policies.Understand how to use CRM software (ex. Salesforce) and pull information for reporting. Responsible for maintaining and updating the project management/development, salesforce software and tracking tools.Works closely with the permit expeditors, project managers, design team and consultants to monitor and expedite the development process.Receives, organizes, and maintains all construction documents.Other duties as assigned.Skills/Qualifications:
2 years minim commercial roofing experienceExperience with roof installation of large retail facilities "Big Box".Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).Read and understand specifications and blueprints.Experience using project management software.Competitive Wages and Exceptional Benefit Package:
