Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Assistant Project Manager with a minimum of 1+ years of provable experience in commercial construction within Southern New England. The ideal candidate should possess excellent document control skills and be proficient with associated computer programs. You must have the ability to read and comprehend vertical construction plans and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.

ResponsibilitiesManage and control project documents including RFI's and submittals.Read and comprehend blueprints and building specifications.Coordinate various project activities and ensure adherence to project timelines.Utilize project management software such as Bluebeam and Procore.Data entry and maintenance of construction drawings.Work collaboratively with the project team to ensure successful project outcomes.Essential Skills1+ years of experience in commercial construction (excluding healthcare projects).Experience in ground-up and vertical construction (new builds and renovations, excluding fit-outs).Proficiency in reading blueprints and building specifications.Document control experience including RFI's and submittals.Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and project management software such as Bluebeam and Procore.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Construction Management (preferred).3+ years of experience in commercial construction (preferred).Work Environment

The role is based in the office from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with a standard 40-hour work week. While there are no hybrid days, the work environment is flexible—if you need to leave to pick up a child, you may do so without micromanagement. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
