Assistant Project Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and experience with tenant improvements, especially in financial institutions, big-box stores, Costco, and restaurants. This position will involve working on a variety of projects including ground-up construction, office buildings, and bank renovations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager in planning and coordinating all aspects of the project, including budget, timeline, and resources. Communicate with construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project progress and quality standards. Review project plans and specifications to identify potential issues and make recommendations for improvements. Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project plans and safety regulations. Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records for all project activities. Collaborate with the Project Manager to resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the project. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions. Assist with budget management, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Ensure project deadlines are met and address any delays or roadblocks as they arise.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of tenant improvements and familiarity with financial institutions, big-box stores, Costco, and restaurants. Experience with ground-up construction, office buildings, and bank renovations is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office. Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications. Understanding of construction safety regulations and procedures. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
