This specialist is responsible for supporting the Project Manager for the Electric/Electronic aspects of a vehicle project. The role involves organizing project status meetings and task force meetings, preparing and distributing meeting agendas, notes, and project status overviews, and tracking and updating project deviation overviews and task lists.
ResponsibilitiesOrganize project status and project-related task force meetings.Write protocols and update task lists for progress tracking, distributing protocols as required.Prepare meeting presentations before meetings.Send reminders for upcoming due dates to affected project team members and track updates.Prepare project status reports, highlight changes and upcoming due dates, and distribute project reports to team members after approval.Provide and update change overviews for projects and distribute reports on a regular basis.Provide and update build overviews for projects and distribute on a regular basis.Analyze new part/software introduction dates for feasibility in the project.Prepare project status reports and meetings for upper management, test presentations before meetings, take meeting notes and tasks during presentations, and actively follow up with tasks to ensure deadlines are fulfilled.Essential SkillsProject managementProject coordinationProficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables)Bachelor's degree in Electric/Electronic Engineering or proof of similar qualification with a degreeExperience in organizing and leading project teamsFluency in EnglishGood knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)Ability to summarize complex topics into easy and understandable messagesStrong presentation skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsGood understanding of change management and its implicationsAbility to read and speak German or SpanishExperience in Automotive Project ManagementKnowledge of Automotive Electric/ElectronicsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a related job fieldWork Environment
