Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Job Description

This is an Assistant Project Manager role with the long-term goal of growing into a Project Manager after a few years. It is with a client that has been in business for 3-Generations (Over 100 Years). The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Construction and a desire to grow their career within the industry.

ResponsibilitiesAssist Project Managers with their projects (up to 10 or 15 at a time).Learn directly under the Vice President and gain knowledge in project drawings.Help process Requests for Information (RFI) and Change Orders.Manage and deal with subcontractors.Learn to prepare takeoffs and estimates.Demonstrate a willingness to learn and engage in client-facing activities.Maintain good communication and foster a team mentality.Essential SkillsExperience in construction.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Ability to undergo a two-round interview process (first round on Teams, then in person on-site).Degree in construction management.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree in construction management or an engineering-based field.Previous experience and familiarity with a construction site.Work Environment

The role requires working 5 days on-site or in the office. The company is a family-owned business on its third generation, known for its incredible family atmosphere. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
