Assistant Project Manager - Construction

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager with 0-5 years of experience in the construction industry. The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects within deadlines and budgets. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager with project planning, scheduling, and coordination.Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and services.Attend project meetings, document meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.Monitor project progress and assist with updates to budgets, timelines, and other project documents.Help with procurement and negotiation of contracts and purchase orders.Assist with project-related paperwork, including permit applications, change orders, and approvals.Coordinate with project team members to streamline workflows and ensure efficiency.Assist with project closeout documentation and final inspections.Ensure construction site safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.0-5 years of experience in construction management or a related role.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, CMiC, MS Office Suites).Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
