Description
Robert Half is seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Property Manager to join the team of a well-regarded property management company. This role is perfect for a professional looking to take the next step in their property management career while playing a key role in the smooth operation of a portfolio of properties.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties.
+ Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
+ Assist in the preparation of leases, lease renewals, and other tenant-related documents.
+ Monitor rent collections, manage accounts receivable, and follow up on delinquent accounts.
+ Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, ensuring timely resolution of tenant and property issues.
+ Oversee vendor relationships, including scheduling services, reviewing contracts, and managing invoices.
+ Prepare monthly property reports, including financial summaries, occupancy rates, and maintenance updates.
+ Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
+ Assist with marketing and leasing activities, including property showings and tenant onboarding.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of experience in property management or real estate, with exposure to administrative and tenant-facing roles.
+ Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, MRI) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer service-oriented mindset.
+ Knowledge of leasing procedures, tenant rights, and property compliance regulations.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
