Assistant Property Manager

Real Estate Development Company located in the Bronx, NY seeks to hire a Temporary Assistant Property Manager. This position will start ASAP and will require a commitment of at least 3-4 months. Candidates are required to be in office Monday - Friday from 830am-5pm (30 min unpaid lunch).

Responsibilities:

Answering PhonesCreating and maintaining filesCreating and maintaining work ordersCommunicating with residents, staff and vendorsAdministrative support to Property Manager and Resident ManagerCoordinating move outs and tenant files with main officeOther tasks and special projects as required by management

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel)Ability to complete multiple projects with different deadlinesStrong organizational skills with attention to detailStrong communication skills, written and verbalSelf-starter who takes initiativeAble to work alone and as part of a teamBilingual in Spanish a plus

Education and experience requirement:

2-5 years experience in an administrative role within a management office or related fieldHigh school diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree preferred)Previous Yardi experience or Property Management Software required

Compensation:
