Description We are an industry-leading company seeking to hire an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and pleasantly persistent Assistant Purchasing/Inventory Specialist to join our fast-paced team! Reporting directly to the Planning/Material Manager, the successful candidate will play a vital role in the execution of supply chain and inventory functions, supporting our mission to provide superior products and excellent customer service. Responsibilities: + Assist in handling raw material scheduling and purchasing. + Be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels to support operational needs. + Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers. + Flexibility in addressing inventory-related issues, executing change orders as required. + Support the Planning/Material Manager in daily operational tasks. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field. + 2-4 years of relevant experience in the supply chain or manufacturing industry. + Demonstrable experience with purchasing ERP systems and supply chain procedures. + Proficiency in MS Excel and data management. + Excellent communication, numerical, and organizational skills. + High level of accuracy and attention to detail. + Ability to operate in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
