Assistant Regional Operations Manager – Day to Day

 

London

 

£46,808 per year (pro rata) - plus company car

 

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday

 

Temporary position for up to 5 months

 

We have an opportunity for a temporary Assistant Regional Operations Manager - Day to Day to join our Property Services senior team. Property Services is responsible for delivering a high quality and cost effective property repairs, compliance and installation and estate services across the UK to mainly internal customers and additionally a small number of external clients. It is also responsible for operational Health and Safety of the service, including fire safety and delivering effective group wide asset management and reinvestment programmes.

 

The role of Assistant Regional Operations Manager – Day to Day will include:

Supporting the senior management team with process improvement through the creation of an innovative environment for operational staff Managing the recruitment, performance and development of quality employees Monitoring, managing and completing all customer works, through self-delivery teams, suppliers and subcontractors Supporting in the management of health and safety aspects of operations, ensuring business responsibilities are delivered in a safe manner Supporting senior management with regional issues and escalation process, ensuring effective and timely resolution is achieved Working closely with the Housing and Property Services teams to ensure continual improvement of business processes and procedures

 

Skills and experiences:

To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to Degree, HND or HNC in Construction or Management level and hold NEBOSH National Diploma - Construction or be currently undertaking the qualification. If you have a lower level qualification along with practical experience and would be prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group, we would still welcome an application. Some experience of managing multi site maintenance contracts in a commercially focussed role Proven ability to effectively recruit, manage and develop people Proven track record managing a direct labour operation or internal maintenance service Experience of delivering services within budget is desirable This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

 

As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications.  Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
