About The Role Responsible for analyzing financial data and preparing credit authorizations, analyzing portfolio credit quality, assisting Commercial Loan Officer in preparing credit requests to Loan Approval Committees, identifying cross-sell opportunities with customers, and making appropriate referrals. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare spreads and/or analyze financial statements of potential and existing customers utilizing the bank’s accepted analytical credit criteria. Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of loan applications and supporting documents and loan information sheets for new and existing accounts. Prepare credit authorizations and collateral and loan documentation. Conduct credit investigations when necessary. Work with Commercial Loan Officer in monitoring customer accounts and loan portfolios to detect changes that might affect their credit standing. Work with Commercial Loan Officer to manage customer relationships and loan portfolios. Accompany Commercial Loan Officer on sales calls/customer calls. Provide support for Commercial Loan Officer during their absence. Recommend to Commercial Loan Officer approval and/or changes in new or existing credit lines. Perform annual term loan reviews. Monitor compliance with loan agreement covenants. About You QUALIFICATIONS: Zero to two years of similar or related experience to include preparatory experience. A Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field is required. An equavalivent combination of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Must possess current valid driver’s license. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY: Working knowledge of standard office equipment. Skills in areas related to computer operation/use including working knowledge of Microsoft applications and ability to learn new systems/applications. Demonstrate soft phone skills by treating all internal and external customers in a polite and courteous manner. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise. Must be capable of up to 25% travel (e.g. 1 week or 5 days/month) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities. Travel will be necessary to conduct the duties of this job, and the employee must have the ability to drive and have proper licensing. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
