The Growth Assistant Restaurant Leader is an Assistant Restaurant Leader with Raising Cane’s that is also responsible for supporting new restaurant openings (NRO) by providing oversight of the training team and supporting their development. The Assistant Growth Restaurant Leader is also responsible for training the hourly restaurant managers and Assistant Restaurant Leaders while deployed. This role will be tasked with supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant before and after opening, and upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture in all areas of restaurant operations. The Growth Assistant Restaurant Leader will lead NRO when needed.
The physical work environment includes working in a fast-paced kitchen environment (which requires extended periods of physical exertion, such as walking, standing, lifting and bending) and interacting with customers. It also includes both inside and outside work in varied temperatures, working with and around food products, common allergens, industrial equipment, commercial cleaning products that require the use of personal protective equipment and physical activities necessary to complete the responsibilities of the job.

Creates crewmember work and training schedulesManages the performance of all hourly crewmembers (e.g. development, coaching, redirective communication and documentation, and other performance management tasks)Acts as manager on duty and opens and closes the restaurantManages cash handling and ensures accountabilityEnforces Raising Cane’s policies and standardsExecutes shift management meeting Raising Cane’s operations and safety standardsUses required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when neededDeploys crewmembers during a shiftProvides exemplary customer serviceUtilizes reward and recognition program for the crewmembers in the restaurantAuthorizes employee functions requiring manager approval (e.g. discounts, promotions, timeclock overrides, etc.)Ensures cleanliness of the restaurant and ensures the facility is in good working orderCompletes other duties as assignedQualifications
Requirements for Success:
