Allied Universal® Janitorial Services, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Assistant Site Manager at Broadway at the Beach. The Assistant Site Manager will direct and delegate the workload of janitorial staff and oversee quality of work performed.  This role will liaise with customer representatives and ensure the highest level of service is provided to agreed specifications.

Allied Universal offers employment with weekly pay every Thursday at $17.00 per hour.

In addition to general Janitorial knowledge and experience, the candidate should possess strong maintenance knowledge and skills. Will assist in coordinating and supervising janitorial and maintenance activities on site. This includes managing personnel, monitoring progress, and ensuring that work is carried out safely and effectively. Communicate materials and inventory needs to Site manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Delegate workload of janitorial staff membersPerform quality assurance checks to ensure work is completed in accordance with our customer contractAnswer calls from security or mall management for emergency cleaningEnsure janitor closets are cleaned and stockedOversee table, chair, stage, retail merchandising unit set-ups as requiredInform maintenance department and supervisor of any maintenance deficienciesConduct safety training; coach and mentor janitorial team membersPerform payroll duties, as neededMake productivity recommendations to leadership staffParticipate in selection and placement of janitorial team membersProvide team feedback and provide guidance for improvementOn occasion, may be required to perform janitorial duties to supplement staff

QUALIFICATIONS:  Ability to troubleshoot, manage stressful situations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior supervisory experience in the janitorial or housekeeping industryHigh school diploma or equivalent
