SUMMARY
The ACE Assistant Store Manager will assist the ACE Store Director in establishing and maintain genuine customer care, accountability for the operation of the store insuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandising, inventory, expense control, and managing operating costs and shrinkage.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drives store sales by ensuring that all customers are acknowledged, customer projects needs are met, and concerns are resolved quickly.Controls shrink, expenses and labor.Ensures appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise adjacencies and presentations; signing and assortment in all departments; ensure selling floor is adequately stocked.Assists in evaluating and reacting to performance issues.Assists Store Director in training and development of store team.Processes information and merchandise through computer system and POS register system. Assists with stocking of supply deliveries and back stock, including building and filling displays.Operates and uses all equipment necessary to run the store.Able to work varied hours/days to oversee store operations. Ensures compliance with all laws, policies and procedures.Follows all ACE programs/promotions.Acts as Niemann Foods representative within the store and community.Enforces safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
