Job Description Your Team The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for assisting the Superintendent in overseeing all trades and effectively managing daily on site activities. This role possesses the knowledge, experience and confidence to engage and professionally interact with the design professionals, consultants and homebuyers while successfully directing the sub-contractors and other construction related personnel in planning, coordinating and safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget. Areas of Responsibility + Ensure compliance with Brookfield Residentials’ Health and Safety Policy at all times on the job site. Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times + Build high quality homes through the management of subcontractors that are compelled to comply with contracts for service. + Motivate subcontractors and suppliers to achieve the level of quality and performance required to meet company objectives + In dealing with customers, display an awareness of construction detail to ensure delivery of homes that meet customer expectations. + Develop good customer service relations based on timely performance that creates customer satisfaction. + Maintain a clean site with adequate and professionally represented ‘on site’ construction facilities. + Comply with all governmental regulations related to the development of land or construction of homes within a respective jurisdiction. + Follow guidelines of quality control inspection program. + Help to maintain construction schedule. + Complete walk through lists within one (1) week and obtain customer sign-off. + Close all homes complete with signed walk through list. + Correct all quality control punch lists and call for re-inspection. + Comply with all governmental regulations related to the development of land or construction of homes within a respective jurisdiction. + Assist Superintendent in updating BuildPro and managing dates with trades, office, and partners + Help establish and adhere to SWPPP program + Perform model maintenance as needed with superintendents to ensure models are taken care of Qualifications + Working knowledge of computers + Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure + Strong verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills Your Opportunity We are proud to offer our employees what they value most: + Competitive compensation + Base salary range: $65,000-$85,000 + Bonus potential: 15% + Excellent extended medical, dental and vision benefits beginning day 1 + 401(k) matching, vesting begins day 1 + Career development programs + Charitable donation matching + Paid Volunteer Hours + Paid parental leave + Family planning assistance including IVF, surrogacy and adoptions options + Wellness and mental health resources + Pet insurance offering + A culture based on our values of Passion, Integrity and Community #LI-BG1 #BRP Brookfield Properties participates in the E-Verify process (https://www.e-verify.gov/) to confirm the eligibility of candidates to work in the United States.
