We are looking for an Assistant Telecom\/ Data Superintendent candidate to join our Field Operations team travelling within North Carolina, Southeast and Caribbean area projects. Our Assistant Telecom\/ Data Superintendent are responsible for assisting with the daily supervision, preplanning of materials, manpower needs in advance. Also includes direction, coordination of all telecom and data construction activities, assigned crews, and subcontractors on a project jobsite to safely produce quality work, within project requirements, targeted budget, schedule, and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Competitive pay and benefits.\n\nA high school diploma or GED is the minimum formal education required for this position.\nCourses in telecom\/data construction management, trade school etc. preferred.\nBICSI certifications and other related certifications required.\n\nInstaller 1 -Basic Training\nInstaller 2 - Copper INSTC Cert\nInstaller 2 - Fiber INSTF cert\nTechnician - Technician Cert\nNICET certification\n\n\nThree or more years work experience as Foreman\/ Assistant Data \/ Telecomm Superintendent running data\/telecom crews with projects sizes of at least $400,000 (commercial or industrial) required.\nThree or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience with telecom installation highly desirable; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. Work in the design-build industry is preferred.\nComputer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Bluebeam, Internet, etc.) preferred. Training can be provided.\nSpecific software literacy (Primavera 3\/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit, McCormick) preferred. Training can be provided.\nCPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications, EM-385, and STS required; Training can be provided.\n\n
