The headquarters’ office of an electrical subcontracting company is in need of a bright candidate, who can dedicate at least 40 hours a week and can become a valuable asset to the already-established office team.
This position requires 2 weeks paid trial period which can be terminated by the employer or the candidate any time before the completion of 2 weeks.
Compensation is hourly-based and with W-2 payroll check on a weekly basis.
Employment benefit is limited to only State of California’s CalSavers Retirement Program.
• Type and format change orders based on estimates provided
• Organize and maintain documents related to change orders
• Follow up on approvals and keep accurate records of change order status
• Prepare and update project tracking spreadsheets
• Assist with material orders by following up on emails and providing documentation
• Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Reconcile orders with invoices for accuracy
• Monitor project updates, including RFIs and plan revisions, and report findings for review
• Assist in preparing project submittals and mainntain related documentation and filing
• Conduct research on project needs and materials as needed
• Compile project status reports as instructed
• Answering telephones and giving information to callers if needed
• Completing forms in accordance with company procedures
• Composing and typing emails, notes, and reports
• Maintenance of paper and electronic filing systems for records
• Capable of traveling outside the office with your own vehicle to run errands like visiting the different governing jurisdictions (Cities) or miscellaneous errands (Gas will be reimbursed)
